Description I take a look in the mirror
You ask me what I see
But I don't want to tell you
I don't want to remember:
The horror
The ribs that tell stories of neglect
The scars on my arms that whisper sweet pains
The caves around my eyes that groan in my sleep
The stomach that arches in bare hunger

A killer

It's a wonder why I want to make myself shrink
Why do I hide, instead of run away?
Why can't I remember the first time?

The seconds go by
The days go by
The years go by

I want it to stop

I am still here

I am waiting

I'm glad people post stuff like this. It helps others with eating disorders to remember that they're not alone. Thank you.

Fortunattely, I've never really had anorexia, but... well, although my case was not a serious one, I had some problems about alimentar habits which I prefer don't mention.

Well... it's so... true!

Ah, I see! But don't think that just because it's a "smaller" problem, that it's not significant. Small problems with eating habits usually snowball to even bigger problems like Anorexia and Bulimia and Binge Eating, and at that point, it's very hard to get out of it.

I don't know...

When I was in grammar school, it seems that all the girls had problems about it, some more serious, some not that serious.

I saw people going to hospital because of it.
But there were also some girls who just wanted to be thinner before a party.

It's a complex question.

I used to have anorexia. . . you are completely right here. Props to you. I love this, it's good to remind yourself that you're pretty every now and then to prevent things like that from happening.

I'm really happy to hear that I am able to connect with others! Yes, Anorexia is just a terrible disease that consumes you. Nothing else matters anymore and everything else begins to fade. It's always good to take a step back and remind yourself, like you said!
