One day you're surfing Youtube/Photobucket/Deviantart.

You suddenly come across a picture titled something like "My OC".
For some reason, the artwork looks familiar.
That's when you realize...

It's YOURS... or your friend's.... or someone you watch's artwork blatantly RECOLORED and stamped as an "ORIGINAL OC! DO NUT STEALLZZZZ!!!!1111" or "MAI ARTWROK! I MDAE ET, DUE NUT STEEL!!"

... It's beyond me as to why someone would be as STUPID as to steal someone's artwork, and not only RECOLOR IT, but also post it on the same site as the person who created it. Or Alternatively, publicly posting it on Youtube and Photobucket and claiming it.

Listen. I DO NOT CARE HOW GOOD YOU ARE AT TRACING/RECOLORING.
Unless the Artist gave you permission you DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT to do this to someone's artwork.
(Recoloring ANYTHING that's not your own artwork in general is just... stupid.)

I mainly write this on behalf of deviant ~Aamypink , who's artwork is stolen on a regular basis by Sonic Recolor Fantards.

Simply because "I found it on google!" or "I thought it was a screenshot!" (as if that makes it any better.)
It must be a bittersweet feeling knowing that your artwork is so good that someone thought it was a screenshot... then stole it and recolored it into "AWESOME CHARACTER! DO NOT STEAL!"

You'll even find them on Youtube videos (Mainly by someone in particular who likes to recolor Sonic and Amy into "Kirlia", among others...) by users who hate "flamers" and hide any comment that says, "Hey! Why'd you steal my/my friend's artwork?!"

... I wish some n00bs would just learn their lessons faster and not recolor.
