The first Te´iden vectorthrust tank is a well keep secret. Developed and tested in seperatet areas with no comunication to the main complexes of Te´iden nation. So at the moment all parts of the two existing vehicles are sintered or produced at place.
After the experiences with its heavy vectorthrust-gunship, the engineers and scientists had a lot of work to make a tank with that heavy engines and armor fly. Most modern A.I.-technology was needet to control such a monster what have a lenght of 25m, a high of 6,5m at all and a width of 10,75m.
The engines are four seperated ones. Two in the front modules, what can catch enemy fire without the chance of loosing crew members or vital systems, what just gives vertical thrust to start and keep the nose up even on low speed. The rare engines are for the massive thrust, needet for the tank to reach jet like speed. It also can be splitted for flight corrections. The big turbines in the front, even if protected by armored plates, are only for the massive compression what is needet for maximum speed. If damaged or destroyed only the high speed ability is lost.
At a special requirement of modern warfare and modern enemys, the engines can change its manufacturing medium from air to water. Through a system of smart materials into the drives it can so act as a waterjet drive. The diving range was calculated to 400m, but never tested under the dangerous conditions of theis depth. The high skilled crew and the only working vehicle was a too high risk for the living abyss of Astaras contaminated deep sea. A LBA systems stand ready to expand the possible depth if really needet.
The armor is a new development, specialy designed to protect such super expensive vehicles. It was made of seperate areas of armor, what can be exchanged simply. Every one is neither active nor reactive in usual ways. Its of a smart polymere what is simply hard till a kinetic level is reached in what the normal abilitys wouldn´t protect the vehicle. Than the plates take the energy and got flexible in waves. This absorbes a enormous level of energy and break the direction of the kinetic hit. The deformet plate will then freeze again in its new form, what will so just loose its absolute efficiency till it can be replaced. The energy absorbing technology grants also a good protection against laser, plasma and other energy and field based weapons, while the progressive reaction can take the most conceptions of simple, or not so simple, kinetic concept weapons. By the way the polymeres has only half the whight of usual armor of comparable size and mass. As normal for Te´iden military vehicles the armor and chassie is well protected against gas, radiation, EMP, water and even viral attacks. The breathing air can be prepared to operate two weeks and more without new supply.
The weapons are a concensus to the tactical requirements. So the high mass of the vehicle was used to build in not a special situation weaponary, then a modular system what can differ its ammunition for different situations.
So the main weapon is a 219mm cannon what uses usualy simple APFSDS against quick air targets, PRP(Plasma Reaction Penetrator(a cartouche of reacting gas what has a high penetration power and can be fired as nearly only cannon projectile als under water with a supercavitation effect through its extrem heat)) for a wide varity of targets, or more simple warheads like thermobaic, chemical weapons or HE.
The second, unfinished, tank has a experimental Railgun to test these systems even under water with some kind of supercavitation effect sabot projectile, what has some good reviews in flat water with low pressure.
Then, a big 48,5mm coaxial autocannon was instaled to fight multible heavy armored targets, but mostly for dogfights. The system is very generally designed and uses KETF ammo at usual, and special self propelling and explsive darts for under water combat.
Then four missile mounts in flight direction was installed for assault actions. Usualy equiped with 8 selfguiding 100mm multipurpoose missiles or torpedos each mount. Through a modern aim computer all targets can be aimed, and the computer relate the own movment with the tracked position, so all missiles can get on a target and then fire all at once. This ability makes it a extrem dangerous and efficiently predator.
For defense it has two small missile turrets in the rare what holds 8 missiles/torpedos of 120mm each. Normaly equiped with HE warheads or little cluster bombs against swarming missiles/drones/critters.
Another point of warfare is the ECM system, what not only defends enemy drone remote networks and sensors. jaming enemys, and friendly, communication is extrem important for the tanks existence. Its defense against enemys ECM systems, its ECCM, is good, but not in relation with its electronical firepower. At the moment ther is no enemy known who can challenge the Te´iden electronic warfare level.
The vehicle cell is designed for four crew members in permanent service. They can only sleep in its pilot sitting, but don´t have to leave the tank till food supply runs out, water can be refreshed a long time. Positions are pilot, gunner, commander and engineer who also the service as spotter. All positions can transfer its functions, and through a redundant electronic network most problems can be fixed through new routing the systems. Most mechanical systems are also automated and don´t need a human hand till damaged to much.
In worst case the A.I. can emulate the crew, but not command the tank. So in theory a single person can operate with the A.I..

Comander of the testing base, all specialsits and the two machines is Admiral Meleyon Samiz. He is part of a military intelligence force with broad powers and areas of application, including air force, navy and army forces.
