Description

Armored Transport Logistics Vehicle.

An upsized Grav-carrier capable of carrying an entire platoon of infantry, or supplies for units operating in hostile, and/or primitive environments. when road and other infrastructure may be limited. Or providing limited surface to orbit/orbit to surface supply and transport.

It is fitted it with twin remote gun mounts, optics, spaced armored skirting, and additional storage bins behind the spaced armor plates. The plates fold down to allow access to storage and maintenance panels and provide a good portion of the vehicle's protection from direct fire. This vehicle is not designed to be in prolonged front line contact with enemy armor, or fighting vehicles, it is a traditional battle taxi/drop shuttle for logistics, and medium capacity transport.

Its weapons and armor are for resisting/suppressing ambushes or providing land/deployment zone protection for dismounting troops for short periods of time. Most often this vehicle will move in convoy with more heavily armed vehicles, or Deploy troops to secured landing/deployment zones that have been cleared of opposition. More combat capable APCs and IFV will deal with the bulk of the combat leaving these vehicles to handle resupply and transport between secure locations.
