Description Some more testing of the system I found out. Similar setup as in the cloth test but with some cat like ears. I'm like a little boy at the candy store, finding out what this thing can do... This makes simulations so much more fun.

EDIT: Updated some. A bit more smoother results.

EDIT2: To keep things organized, moved to scrap book...

The tech behind this is rather neat indeed. But there's not much of WOW in the ears. XD

Great Idea Dude!
Why didn't I thought of that before. If cloth sim can work for ears than I'm sure it will also work for poly hairs...I think I should try it too.

Updated this a bit to get smoother results...

Yeah it could work. Though I used a few tricks to speed things up. For poly hairs it could require some thinking. For flat ones, no problem, for double sided hairs, it could be a bit tricky to get look right. But I wish you luck with it.
