Description
at first I thought of conceptual shoots not working out to be quite disappointing, and somehow of course it is. especially because this particular shooting with helena meant a lot to me. I wanted to portray a new beginning, a restart, a recovery ... and I wanted it to embody freedom. it was neither my nor helena's fault that it didn't work out exactly as we planned, I suppose it was just ... coincidence. but on the other hand, eventually it turned out to be right. I don't know how it is for anyone else on this planet, but to me, these photos mean a lot. they are the beginning of something new, something marvelous, and I think I captured this simplicity, this freshness, but also content of the whole situation in a better way than originally planned, and incidentally, I like it even more than my actual idea.so, thank you helena for waking up at 6 o'clock in the morning and shooting with me. I hope you'll enjoy in finland. all the best.

No catchlights. Is it supposed to be conventional or unconventional?

good shoot and expression of the model...
as for the shoot the blurry background does help the viewer to relate it to the title, don't you think?? I'm beginning to wonder if that field is the same as in other works you have done before... or is just my imagination trying to map the location of the shootings.
as for the model expressions they can suit many lines that does not need to be spoken... the one I like... "I don't know whats ahead of us, might not be easy and this is the closest you'll get to an invitation to be partners on this journey..."

oh. wow. yes, you are right! it actually is the meadow I've used for dozens of photo-shootings and it just made me so happy that you actually noticed! and I suppose you're quite on the right track with your interpretation, as for, actually it's up to you what to take out of the photo, but that is already more or less what I personally thought about when taking it.

Well... I don't actually take one scenario or interpretation... but that one is the one I said, "it suits the situation and her expression no??? perhaps she is not as bold as to say that straight to a "companion" but that is the charming part of expressions, they can convey messages people wouldn't say".
And for now I feel quite sure that if it happens to me, that I wake up in Germany... I would be able to tell whether or not I feel that place familiar. Just the same way I never loose my direction in assassins creed because I had already been in most of the cities of the game...
Very well... that was more or less the idea of the picture... so what would you choose?... I mean, that "question" holds against the viewer of the picture, and at a point to the photographer... so what would you choose?
