what we have here is a dreamer. someone completely out of touch with reality.another shot from lake constance ... I think it was the moment when I firstly saw the grass wet of the morning dew that this idea came to my head. a few weeks ago, I'd watched The Virgin Suicides with Rosa for the first time and that movie, and also its filmography, inspired me so wonderfully much that I just had to take a photo and combine a scene of the movie and my own personal style of photography ... and I think it turned out well. and it's the thing that people will read the artist comment and think that this movie is over-rated and that they've seen this quote a thousand times on tumblr or whatsoever. but hey ... then that's their fault, not mine.

The "whiteness" of the picture makes it unbelievably realistic. She is a dreamer. Maybe this is just a dream?! I think we've all caught ourselves lying just like that, daydreaming or thinking in exactly the same position. Faraway eyes, slightly parted lips...
She looks like the typical image of a virgin and innocence. Blue eyes and blonde hair. Truth be told, I can't help but find it slightly stereotypical. However, the whole picture makes me think that she is not as innocent as people think she is. Maybe in her mind she is not innocent at all. Or maybe this is just a projection of what she considers to be her lost innocence. She looks so thoughtful that I believe she might be envisioning what she could be. If that makes any sense, then yes I do think too much into pictures. XD
BTW, I love her freckles. They are a very nice touch. Natural and the shading gets so much better with it.

Sie ist wunderschön, hast du mehrere Bilder von ihr? Vielleicht in einer anderen Perspektive, ich würde sie nämlich gern als ''Catherine Dollanganger'' portraitieren.
Übrigens, du ähnelst (in meiner Fantasie) sehr stark an 'Christopher Dollanganger'. Einer der Hauptcharaktere vom Buch 'Blumen der Nacht'. Falls du gern liest, würde dir das Buch gefallen.

Ich hätte noch ein paar verschiedene Portraits von ihr, aber ich werde sie wohl nicht hier hochladen. Falls du sie aber brauchst, ich kann sie dir schicken, das wäre möglich.
Und ich muss sagen, von dem Buch habe ich noch nichts gehört. Aber es ist gleich auf die Liste der Bücher gerutscht, die ich noch lesen möchte. Sowas interessiert mich immer, Vergleiche die Menschen aufstellen. Das hat immer etwas, als könnte man einen Moment lang in die Gedankenwelt von jemandem hineinschauen.

Nikolas, this did not turn out well, this turned out magnificently.
I... I want to cry it's so absolutely beautiful and what I wish so
fervently to create within my own art. Every element is precisely
executed, the mountains in the distance (gosh I wish I had a lens
with this kind of depth...), the wild flowers, the white-blonde hair,
freckles, the tank top that mimics the colour of the sky, and the
interesting look of her eyes. I wish I could grow as fast as you...
I feel like I'm falling behind, unable to match your pace of improvement...
maybe I've hit my limit.

Thank-you Nikolas, I read this yesterday but didn't respond till today, and I needed this.
I lost another friend. My ex, whom I thought of as my best friend said something unforgivable
to me, and so now I've removed him from my life. Leaving me even more alone. We talked nearly
everyday. Other than you, he was the only person I ever really talked to and now that's gone.
