Desolation Part I - WastesI like abandoned places. Don't know why, but It's kinda peaceful. I know... I'm weird, it's ok.
Decided to make series about abandoned places. It's mainly photomanipulation and matte painting so pieces can come together (levels, saturation, contrast, lightness and perspective changes)
I'm still thinking about the next part, will get to it after I finish my digital painting piece (it's taking ages, and working 40 hours a week doesn't help either)
I'm thinking of the far north, may be Siberia...

I really like your work - this particularly. 'Desolation' is a good name for this. You really set a sad/lonely tone with work like this, and the detail is amazing. It feels warm and cold at the same time. Very nice, and the sky is just awesome.
I like abandoned places/things too - old drive-in theaters, gas stations, diners, bridges, and auto-salvage yards - especially those that specialize in vintage cars and trucks, etc. So yeah, I'm weird too.

Майсторе, имаш грешки с хвърлените сенки. Автомобилът ще слънчаса без причина. Второ- интересни са следите от гумите пред къщата, но ги е оставил друг автомобил. И трето- много интересни са близнатите от светлината участъци, интересен подход към пътя на светлината, но това и заостря вниманието ни към твоите картини.

Хех, определено ги виждам сега като някой ми ги посочи, затова е хубаво да има на кой да си покзва нещата творенията, защото понякога като прекараш извествно време и започваш да си "сляп" за грешките. Нали казват, трябва да оставиш творението да "втаса"
Точно пред къщата, където са следите, трябва повече сянка, а автомобилът наистина няма как да я хване тази светлина, освен ако я няма половината къща отзад.
И определено не се смятам за Майстор, още съм в училище

I don't think is weird, I like abandoned places too...as u said, they have more peaceful atmosphere. Especially this scenery, I really like the way you manipulated the colours work- contrast and balance at the same time and especially how you make the house come forwards without overshadowing the rest
