Description
Lamborghini Gallardo SuperleggeraFull View, please!
100% Vector. Gradient Mesh was used for most of the car. The hardest part were the tires and the shadow of the car. Rims were made with transform. Best shadows I achieved with expanding radial gradients to gradient mesh. Could have spent couple of hours more to improve it, but there were too many layers and my laptop was starting to get really slow. It's too damn hot.
I used a photo for a reference.
The logo of the car is the only shape that wasn't build by me. Downloaded from Here
Here you can see the actual outline.
This took me many hours, so Thank you for stopping by.

you did a fine job, your reflections are laying correctly to the contour terrain to the car. The value control is very solid and in the right sequence according to the lighting a well. Given that you had a photo to refer
to, you still observed everything correctly and translated what you saw faithfully. VERY GOOD FROM mvartist

so this is a 3d model and then rendered by a software? what is a a gradient /radial mesh? beautiful work.

Hi MV,
This is not a 3d model. I will try to explain:
First you get a base picture, then on top of it you start to build paths in Adobe Illustrator (or Corel Draw) You can fill the different shapes with either solid color, gradients (transition from one color to another - in linear, radial form etc) or gradient mesh.
Gradient mesh is like a net of paths, where you can assign a different color to every point where two paths are crossing.
It really is not so hard to do, it just takes a lot of patience.
If you are unfamiliar with Vector based software, this might not make much sense.
By the way, you have some sweet artwork on your page!

great work, the shadow&lightning is really tricky, you 've done well
