I thought about introducing Hiroshi Sato in this scene, but in the end, I didn't feel like breaking Amon's monologue. So, let's just imagine our beloved mad inventor clapping at the death of a firebender in a corner!

Love the Lieutenant's look of bloodthirsty glee. I also really like the way you have Amon dressed, rather than having him in the complete costume that he later wears. A great piece of symbolism that he is still growing as that character.
Also, I adore the third panel. The way the mask is drawn, looking more like a human face than a mask, makes it look like the mask is slowly becoming his real face. Awesome!
