Description
Built from a parametre set someone (guess it was ~n8iveattitude or *Keeps , can't possibly remember now though) shared on the #Aposhack yesterday... thank youThe Latin title (one I've come up with after a good deal of brain juicing) means more or less "Into the innards of the worm" and is inspired by a quote from M.R. James' classic ghost tale "Mr Humphreys and his inheritance"... my brain's still juicing though, so I may rename it at any moment now if only I figure out something better.
Apophysis 2.08beta, PSP7 form framing and signature. Full view via download is recommended, comments and critiques most welcome.
Edit 07/04/09: apparently, I've come up with a better title

Amazing piece, the colors are perfect, and I just love the combination of sharp details with such a powerful composition.

I picked this as my favorite from your gallery to feature in my journal . Please don't respond unless, for some reason, you don't want it there.

All the growing tips pointing to the centres... I'm not familiar with that particular story - I shall definitely read it as James is a favourite for winter nights by the fire

Come to think of it, that tale is about "something" pointing to a centre... where something (obviously) unpleasant awaits nuff with spoilers, though.
Second you on the winter night thing - M.R. James is a fave for me too... gentle, understating yet scary as f**k

May the mushroom god be gentle on me when I trip into this... awesome work. Looks like that strange DMT-domed-architecture

Look mate, I'm not liable for trip desasters, mk ?
Aside from jokes however, I'd thought of DMT too... there's definitely something ayahuasca-ish about this one...

Mate. Nobody is liable for any tripdesasters but the tripper himself.
Never found a shaman to brew me some ayahuasca, though.

Know that but I'm also aware that most of my stuff is on the darker side of trippy... sure it creeps me out sometimes
Second you on ayahuasca - it's def'ly not something I'd want to try without a guide. Let's say the image impressed on me as ayahuasca-ish according to what I have heard of the brew, but it's no first-hand impression.

Thank you so much however you get a good piece of the credit too... I'd have never figured out the edisc+julian combo to boot

i love the combo but i am afraid i am almost to the end of what i can do with them! i have pretty much beat them the death in the last few days! have no idea what i will work on next

Well, I've spent some time playing with it and my say so far is, it can yield very nice results but I've had some trouble tweaking it into the dark/organic sort of style I'm into... that said, though, I definitely need to do a lot more tweaking before I can the last word on it
Thank you again for the input
