Yep, I'd got the same feeling, looks like aztec basrelief or something... but all titles with Aztec or Mayan etc didn't sound good enough

You've made grand julians interesting again! I really like the way that the shape folds over the design, and it looks like you've spent some considerable time experimenting and lining things up so the end result is visually exciting.

I've got a soft point for julians... this one's nothing particularly brainy (though it did take eternity to find a proper colouring), I just loved the way it seems to melt and fold around the centre... somehow reminded me of Dali's soft clocks
