I like how you painted the crow, the skies, the heavy sees, the rope and necklace, it has such symbolism, but symbolism you're not meant to understand.. Even the little sailboat surrounded by birds..

You can read your own story from it and assign your own symbolism.Β

Ohhhh I wanna know more now
Where's the raven come from?
Who does/did the amulet belong to?
What sort of enchanted adventure of sorrow and romance does this scene come hence?

I am delighted to fill you with such wonder. Enjoy whatever story you come up with :}

A bit cheerier than your usual offerings but I like it.Β There are several possible stories that occur to me: A sailor unsure if he will ever return from a dangerous voyage; A message of hope sent to a distant love;Β An apology for a desertion that was a mistake.

Yeah, my mood varies in my head and on the canvas ;]Β
I'm glad this scene is inspiring some stories. A message of hope is closest to what I had in mind.Β

Lovely painting. I like how you did the water. It looks turbulent.
I have a feeling that a sailor has sent off that locket right before his ship sank. Β
