Ok first - it plays smoother 
second - hmmmm...... I like the dipper, but you are right it is fairly prominent. When it lingers after everything else dissolves I do feel like it is somehow the key to the story.... What I jump to is some sort of commentary on the longevity of the universe..... how it will be there long after our world dies....
I enjoy it .... but it does become very important, and if that's something you did not want....?
Nothing about the level of detail or strength of the mountain like shape bug me .... but I would be interested in seeing various versions.... sometimes I don't know what I want till I see it. I have been trying to scan different stages of my work lately.... it is always confusing to see the path.... when I look at the early stages I get sad about what I dropped or gave up on but when I see the final I am never aware of a void or wanting those elements back........ More like if I could splinter the time line and see multiple versions.... out of curiosity if nothing else ........ Maybe a "Groundhogs Day" type set up would be better ..... draw the same thing every day looped.....

....did i ever mention that I hate that it turns my colon and parentheses into a little emoji.... it stands out too much.... seems tacky.... but I hate leaving a space between the eyes and mouth.... your use of ] works well..... Stay Classy!
