GARNETSteven Universe is pretty much the only thing I've been drawing this past month ever since I discovered it during finals (horrible timing). I've also learned two and a half songs from the show on my mandolin. Rebecca Sugar has crazy talent, I tell ya.

Have to agree with you on how much we have to thank Ms. Sugar for all of her hard work on the show and heck even some great tunes that are still resonating in my head when I think of Steven Universe, lol.
Will say though its great to see you managed something even with the presence of school hanging over you NimbusCat , bravo. And for that you did a great justice with Garnet here and just doing that perfect solid face that makes her appear so hard and badass to approach to. But along the lines for the show though, you captured her look spot on from everything to her hair, the costume to even the damn glasses for that matter.
Besides just the lines that were done a nice show on the coloring and it too having something more to see then just the flat tones you could have used. In a way the coloring here stands out being nice and warm with the light toning around the face so you can almost see some cheeks and much more you can make out those stern lips and nose, lol. Almost forgot to add on the lovely and massive addition of her damn brick afro, never tire of seeing that epic hairpiece on her and great show on how it covers all the rest of the image, lol.
Wonderful close-up shot on Garnet here NimbusCat , kudos to your art and good luck with finishing off them evil finals. Yeah, I don't like school either. *shudders*
