Description
Character design sheet for Rose (as appearing in "The Tie That Binds," my Titans fancomic). My style of drawing her has fluctuated greatly, so before she makes her debut in her actual costume, I figured I'd better settle on an especially specific style/design to prevent problems in the future.Tools of the trade: ballpoint pen and photoshop. (Drew this during class...)
Anyone has permission to use this design of Rose (ten years old here, as her big brother Jericho is about seven years older than her), just credit me with the design. The character, of course, doesn't belong to me, but to DC Comics.
As for TTB: still finishing the next 3-4 pages (yes, the next update is more than one page!), and I'm also re-drawing prologue pages 0.1 and 0.2 (which desperately need it). Edit: Done with the update.

Can't understand why I never commented on this picture before, really do love it, and I'm anticipating seeing how you'll handle Rose going from the "little sister" into her own more serious role. She already can fight, but having a specific persona to herself is bound to change things.

So we can assume Rose is going to assume the persona of Ravager in your comic? Interesting. I have a lot of faith you'll be able to pull it off very well (As compared to her constant back-and-forth heroine persona in the DC comics), as you've already been making her role balanced in your works, can't wait to see your updates with this.

As an avid Ravager fan, I love the twist you've given her costume. I've been trying to think of a redesign that doesn't have the giant pirate boots, but I like how you kept them, just made them less floofy. I'm really digging the chest plate and the two sword sheath on the back instead of the normal crossed ones. Awesome job.

Nice design! I'm guessing she isn't working for Slade then, because it's not exactly Slade's color scheme. (Actually more of a wishful thinking thing...D: )
Is her chestplate made of metal? It looks wavy like metal to me anyway...

Well...replace the purple with black and make the blue more silvery and what do we have...? The design is basically a more "girly," colorful version of Slade's design: there are definitely Slade-esque (and Slade-apprentice-esque) subtleties in the costume.
That doesn't necessarily mean she's working for Slade, though.

Something like that... I don't really remember. I just remember that she doesn't really look anything like her mom...except that her eyes are *occassionally* a bit slanted.
