I just realized that I forgot to finish BB's shoes in the first panel, AND I got the white and blue parts of Cyborg's arm flipped around. Speaking of Cyborg, he used to be in that big bottom panel, but his position and the perspective made it look really awkward, so I erased him and never sketched him back in. I still love you, Cy!

I feel like I should point out my obvious mistakes (as I've said before), lest I fail you as an artist. ^-^;;

I decided to divide the chapter into three parts. So...This is the end of part one of chapter one!! Wow...I still have a long way to go...

Now that the first big battle scene has come and gone, we will finally get a chance to sit back, relax, and watch some character drama play out. I haven't had much time to establish or toy with any of the characters' relationships/emotions before the fight with Gypsum broke out, so now you can definitely look forward to some of that. And though this comic is strongly Jericho/Raven oriented, I AM going to be exploring the relationships between other characters (romantic or otherwise**) such as Cyborg and Rose, Beast Boy/Terra, Robin and Joe, Joe and Rose, Raven and BB, Robin/Starfire, BB and Jericho, etc. So don't be bummed if you're not a Rae/Joe fan; I'm sure you'll see your fair share of "moments" in at least one pairing or friendship you support.

**and not all "moments" are conducive to romance. For goodness' sake, people! Can't characters develop a bond of friendship and NOT be romantically intimate??
