This is probably the first time in five years, more or less, that I’ve worked with another artist on a fun piece like this~ Definitely had it’s challenges, pushing me to render the details and work on different parts in an “order” slightly different to my usual. I changed the colours a lot too— but it was a great experience to change things up like this!

To me, the little bear family immediately gave an impression of coziness to the composition. I wanted to go for that with a warmer atmosphere and palette! Speaking of bears, I think I want to paint them again— been meaning to include a polar bear or another in a future landscape...
