You've met Neave, now meet Erik!
Erik is a common dolphin x spotted dolphin.

Like many others, Erik has lived a rough life, though he is efficient at looking after himself and his best friend Otter (Her name is not Otter, she just doesn't have a name yet )
Otter is the only soul in the sea that see's the real Erik. Warm and kind. To others he appears distant and aloof, but anyone watching him carefully will be able to see his thoughtful and caring side. Not with his words, but with his actions, showing affection with simple and practical gestures.
Despite his rough exterior, Erik see's beauty in his surroundings that others may overlook, enjoying it with low-key enthusiasm. He lives in the moment and doesn't care for what could be or will be, only what is.

I love the color of Neave and Erik's eyes! My favorite animated movie is The Lion King. I decided to give my main characters the same color eyes as Simba and Nala in the film, as a small homage to a movie that shaped my life

I'm having a lot of trouble with Erik's design and color scheme, but I think I like this one. I didn't intend on having him be so dark. I was trying to make him a lighter brown, but that just wasn't working out XD And now that I see Neave and Erik together, I like the contrast of light and dark, which also plays into some core themes of the story.

I've also been working on front-on character expressions and now I just want to throw my hands up and give up on the entire project before I even start XD Really struggle with this view!
