Description Another one of ~Unicron666 's swords. This one was more loosely based on his design than the others, but I think it works a little better this way.

Original sketch: Sword of leaping Demon
Final design outline: Sword of the Soaring Dragon

Update: Added a tail to the hilt, and adjusted the knuckle guard somewhat. Also changed the red background to white, adjusted the lighting and exposure, and tilted the camera up a little to get a better view of the hilt.

No need to use Caps Lock.. Really..

He never even mentioned that you had to run those programs at the same time. You could actually make your model and set up the scene, then save, open up photoshop, make the texture, save it. Then launch 3Ds Max and then apply your texture and press the big red 'render' button.

As simple as that. It doesn't take much CPU to run either of those programs. Just do it one at a time. Also, all programs can handle "Scratches" its a picture...

And what does the processor speed have to do with anything? Really..? .___.

That's just my

I'll lend you my computer, good luck getting it to do anything tasking, some people, don't have the PATIENCE to go to one program, do all the work, then go to another program, then do work in that, then go BACK, it's easier, to just work in the one program, or have both open, it's pointless putting in loads more work, when it's just for a website like this, I never put anything I've worked HARD on on here, because there's people who feel the need to tell you what's wrong, when you fix it, they tell you what else is wrong, and people like that shit me to no end.

That thing you are talking about there is called 'feedback' and its a good thing to get. Also, if you don't have the patience to do anything, then stop doing it. Or get yourself a new computer. I know some people can't do that because of the lack of money, like myself. But then again, even my mothers 8-9 year old computer can have those two programs open at the same time, so your computer must be the first one ever made... D:

And also, try to put up some of your "Best" work. I would like to see that. And as the last thing: "when it's just for a website like this" Well, kind sir, this is one of the places where you can get feedback on your stuff, and people are generally nice to you here. If you really want constructive feedback, then go here [link]

That's all from me for this time.

FYI, I have a 12 year old brother, sharing a family computer, explain lack of space much?

And also, got a new family computer today, as a Christmas present, not that I'm gonna be doing any art, and like I said, I'm not uploading my best things, most of which is custom spritework, the times I HAVE uploaded it, the fucksticks that run/ruin this website, delete the damn things.

The only thing you would need space for is to save your stuff. But get yourself an iPod somehow and save your stuff on that.. I do it myself, it works pretty fine.

And if you has uploaded some of your stuff before here, then the only reason I see to why it should get deleted is because:

1. its breaking any of the rules. 2. its stolen work.

That's all the reasons I can see. But try to prove me wrong, and upload some of your 'best' artwork.

They call spritework "Copyright infringement" which, it isn't most of my sprites are custom.

Forgot something.

Hence the reason, you should UVmap it and texture it in Photoshop instead, and then make a shiny material out of it, with the texture map.
