Description
This is a picture in a series of 9 (or more) pictures I plan to sell. They are 14,5x21 cm big, done in watercolors and markers. My aim is to gain some money and to donate this money to a small german organisation in Greece which helps and protects dogs who live on the streets.I will start selling these when I finished 6, currently 3 are finished. The price isn't fixed yet, but I plan to sell them at a price of 25-30$ each.
The homepage of the organisation is [link] (all german). You don't have to read the text, just see the photos and you'll see how terrible the situation is over there and how bad the dogs need help. The organisation always needs money to build new dog pounds and stations or for meds. I want to support them just a bit, also because I'm trying to adopt a dog from this organisation. Please help me. I will announce the sale here on DA and on my LJ.

I absolutely love the vivid colours you use in this series of pictures. It's most striking in this piece, though, because polar bears aren't typically seen as very colourful, being white.
I had to favourite this one, because of the colours but also because I'm a polar bear fan.

I am in love with all the vivid colors you always manage to express in your pieces ;_; What kind of paper/watercolor/markers do you use that get such a bright tone to them?

Sadly they aren't as bright as here in real :// I mean they still have very vivid colors, but I pimped them a bit after scanning for the online version.

anyways, great job on the picture. It's absolutely beautiful. Wonderful using your colors well. Usually, I'd think watercolor is quite complicated to handle, but I love to see masters at work

Really like how furry he looks, as if you could snuggle up and take a nap on him (though, that wouldn't be recommended). I also like how you managed with the color of the paper as the highlights and shaded along with that, if that makes any sense. It's rare to see that pulled off really well, in my opinion. Great job, I really look forward to seeing the rest.

I love that you went and used warm colors for an animal that lives in such a cold environment. But the added blues make a nice touch as well. Every stroke you made looks done so lovingly!! And this is done for such a nice cause~
