Okay so, things have been kind of hectic for me, and I haven't been able to do any art at all these days? Like, most I can do is a couple fo sketches that I may or may not like and then I'm exhausted. I'm just in a very emotionally unstable place right now, and I sit here on this pile of old to older sketches I never finished and now I probably never will, feeling kind of lost and unsure of where to go from here. I've grown pretty jaded with my own art, and I'm hoping to work on that next year, try new things or take some class or something. Anything to get out of this shit mire I'm on. So in the mean time, have a sketch dump I guess??Some of these are finished art I never posted here because I just didn't feel like it, or from abandoned projects I had, some designs that didn't pan out for me or I haven't had the chance to work with yet, some style or coloring experiments, and you might spot some unofficial stuff from ARPG groups I was on and didn't finish. Since I can't work on new things right now but I want to keep a presence on DA somehow, I might as well share these. I found a few I might find the energy to finish but who knows.

There's Lo'Dara!!!Ah Honestly I was a little worried you'd change her design alot but I can really tell that's HER, ah my heart swells with glee.
Anyway my bias aside, i'm sorry to hear you're suffering emotionally, I know that can be an uphill battle at times. I can't say much that'll help but if you need a break, by all means take one. I'm sure i'm not the only one who'll understand if you need to get away for a while. Btw if you're unhappy "away" then try something new. If you need to try a different way of drawing or a different theme. Hell, make some fanart of your favorite cartoon or TV show or something. You don't have to stick to a single band of characters or "world". It might be a sappy cliche but let your heart lead the way for a while.

There she isss!! tbh, the redesign I wanted was just enough that she wouldn't be a wyngro anymore, but still L'odara. They were little things I wish she could be but the group wouldn't allow, and that's not a fault of the group itself, just my own desires of what I wanted for her appearance. So I'm glad I managed to keep her as L'o as she could be \o/
Well that's the thing, I don't want to go away. I want to keep doing art, not just of the characters I already have but of new characters too. I have so many ideas, but no matter what I try I cannot make them real on the paper. They just don't feel right to me, and that's probably a sign that I need to take a step back and get back to studies and experimentation. The annoyance is just getting over my own lack of self-organization and my procrastination habits to do just those things on my own. That, coupled with a few other issues at home and my last semesters at college to wrap everything up is being quite a battle for me, which only annoys me further and puts in an even more emotionally unstable place. It's just a big snowball that keeps throwing me down and ugh, so frustrating. >~<

I completely get that; the most difficult part for me is getting from my head to paper and being satisfied with it.
(that and of course procrastination. i'm better at gaming tbh)
