Redirect to original
Description
I've been working on a couple fun projects behind the scenes, but until I post those, here is another redline.Redline done for the original here: evangidaga.deviantart.com/art/...
I picked this out of the folder of redline requests because I enjoyed the creature design. It's the first time I've seen this kind of petal tail. Very cool! My main comment is about how there are absolutely no rules to drawing dragons, but one thing that might help is to take inspiration from nature. A rounded dragon with two short legs will remind people more of, say, a seal or kangaroo than a cheetah or snake and we'll associate those things with the animal. When I first saw the dragon, I thought it would was a sea creature.
Other notes: I let the tail hang down off the cliff instead of being held up closer to the body. I made the neck slightly longer, and I put the legs further back for balance (the long tail will probably act as a counterweight to the weight of the head/neck).
