Very, very beautiful scene! I like the addition of that "there was a stranger in The Meadow today", it just makes the piece seem so much more day-to-day like, while also making it sound all the more mysterious. c:

I imagine the rest of the week, the stranger comes again to challenge the old leader and take his harem

Ahh great! X) And ye, something like that, except with a twist- the herd doesn't have a harem or really a "leader", but is actually led by a matriarch- the one in the light. Just to make it a bit more interesting. ; )
