(Download for full view)Collaboration with . Artti did the sketch, I did the coloring and background. This is how I've been entertaining myself off and on all evening. (Because I finally got it in the MAIL! Along with Sidhia-art and a chunk o' birdie! 8D *brick'd*)
Ok, so... this has absolutely NOT A LICK of shading on it, and it's most likely staying that way because... the whole darned thing has too much neon and black to even be POSSIBLE to dodge-and-burn shade. Have you ever tried to dodge and burn neon colors? It's horrendous... well, when it does anything at all, that is. I would really wanna cell shade this is I was actually capable of doing that, which I'm not. >.>
ANYHOW... deaf ravers. 8) Pulse (the white fox/lupe girl) belongs to me and Jaraxle, Koloe (the other guy) is Artti's. They're both ravers. They're both totally deaf. Pulse feels the music and Koloe... imagines it? It's pretty amusing that we both had deaf raver characters and just spontaneously realized we did one day. XD Coincidences are fun.
I really like how this came out, despite the utter lack of shading. The background came out kinda snazzy~ Jaraxle was telling me a while back what he imagined the dance floor of The Glowstick (the dance club at Izzet Institute) would be like, so I drew it. 83

Okie, after much researching of characters...
I think either Juan and Lirpa (since they're both immature and prankstery and fun) ooor maybe Miashi going crazy over Ezio's glowies and driving Ezio nuts would be fun. x33 Any preference? And any ideas on how Juan and Lirpa would be interacting if we did them?

I know I have the right colors for coloring Juan and Lirpa, and you don't have an actual ref for Juan's anthro form, so maybe you could draw them and I'll color them, and then I can draw Miashi pestering Ezio? Also... I have to do lineart traditionally, or else I'll go crazy... d'you know how to convert traditional lineart into digital, or would you like me to do that for you and give it a transparent background? The way I transfer it to digital makes for kinda low-quality lineart, but I can at least... make it lineart that's digitally colorable? XD

If you wanna take the time to you could always do a blank layer, put black where you want shading, then opacitate the layer to 50% that's how I do my shading/highlighting. :3 NAyways, I LOVE this! Very, very nice.

I used to do that. Now I dodge and burn, usually... What I'd have to do to shade bright colors like these, though, is just plain old cell shading... and I do NOT wanna do that. I just done. So no shading. x3
