Description I was going to have this and advanced techniques in the same tutorial, but the file was just getting way too big. So advanced techniques will be another tutorial up soon.
I'll also be uploading the emotes made here and in the other tutorials.

Questions/Comments/Suggestions are always welcome

Edit: Left out a part in the replace method, fixed now.

I know this is a wee bit late but if you are still having issues. Go to the Windows menu and go to "Dockable Dialogs" and select layers.

Nice tutorial you have here !
And hey, Since you make emotes and everything, according to you, which is the best program to make emotes in ?

Well I've only ever used gimp and mspaint, so gimp wins for me. It all really depends on what you're used to. If you use photoshop already then it might be easier to work with.

Thanks for your opinion on this. I guess I will try using Photoshop for this, and perhaps try GIMP. Thanks again !

Pretty nifty. Wouldn't mind seeing the "other one I'm working on will deal with specifics, like walking, stretching/squishing, and other stuff" but I can see you rarely finish anyth

The other one I'm working on will deal with specifics, like walking, stretching/squishing, and other stuff that's eluding my memory atm. Although don't expect that to be up anytime soon (I'm a bit slow at getting things done XD ) so feel free to ask me about stuffs.

What I did to figure stuff out was look at what someone else did that had what I wanted and looked at the frames in gimp to figure out the technique. Heck, I still do sometimes when I see something I haven't figured out yet.
