While you're at it, right under the snake there's something (maybe another branch) that's also distracting, and I'd suggest cropping it a bit more on the right side because now you can see where the branch is attached to the wall

It's a nice photo....god composition, nice colors.....but that date needs to not be there.

ha, agreed. i must have used my old 32 mm and at the time I didn't know how to get the date off. although now, i dont even remember how to work that damn camera; it was always very tricky about loading in film.
