So, this is Echo. She's my first official furry cyborg character. She's a red (teal?) panda who is almost more machine than animal at this point.
I have a weird, sadistic approach when making characters that I actually want to RP with/as. So, she's a mute, and her history isn't pleasant. I'm not 100% on her design just yet; thinking of adding a few scars and stuff to give her much more of a horror-sci-fi feel.
This is also my first time DRAWING cybernetic limbs as far as I can tell. Good god it's difficult. Expect them to get more complicated over the next few months, too, as I'm not totally happy with how they look. At least they get the job done, for now.

Well, cybernetic limbs don't cave to be very complex. Look at CAPCOM for instance. They create some kick ass robots. For example, Mega Man, Mega Man X, Zero, etc.
To me, these are good, but then again, I draw Reploids, not cyborgs. Reploids are a little bit more simplistic.

Yeah, I know they don't have to be complex, but for most character designs, they were created with streamlining purposes in mind. Megaman is a good example of this, like you said.

I'm actually creating a cyborg/reploid-like character, but he won't be a furry. When I'm done with him, I'll let you use him at no charge. Plasma needs a friend that will actually care and not use him to go do other people's bidding.

I absolutely LOVE the Invisible Chair! It's just so useful--kinda like a greenscreen!
I share your sympathy for hating mechanical drawings, but you pulled it off quite well. If they were much more detailed it would throw off the neat simplicity of the rest of her design. I also definitely relate to the innate, Authorly evil that is within us all, that little voice that says: Oh come on, it can't be that easy for them...
Great character! RPing is aces. But do go easy on the poor thing, if that's possible. (there, Echo, I tried)

I'll do my best to go easy on her, but will probably forget the second I actually get into some sort of epic RP. Something about choices permanently affecting characters just makes me <3
