One could almost think that Aria cared about the Human. A Human!
I assume this is a technical issue, but what determines the colour of the outlines around the characters? Here it's orange, but in other images it blends in better with the environment and is not so noticeable, e.g. in www.deviantart.com/art/TOC-I-g… and (to a lesser extent) niorah.deviantart.com/art/TOC-… .

Nothing but me determines the outline, it is a fancy little thing I like to add, it pleases me aesthetically, nothing more. I change it according to the environment or the mood of the scene. I always feel like in those specific areas of Omega that are the slums and Mordin's clinic the light tends to be warm but artificial, and a tone of orange seemed to me to be able to convey that decently.
I guess I could make it less bright and more beige or brown. I will give it a try later today and see how it looks.
EDIT: There, done. Should look less "in your face" now. 
A maroon works fine, but I did struggle to find just the right colour, and I'm not fully happy with it yet, to be honest.
