Recently I have been really into Mass Effect, it's a really addictive universe and story. It has allowed me to take a break from the usual 3D models and stuff that I have normally do. I have even taken back up fan fiction writing which I have been enjoying. I have also been attempting to learn the XPS software, a positioning software for models exported from the game. Still in the early stages of that but I am looking forward to when I can pump out my first render.ΒThis is a model extracted by of Liara as she appeared in Mass Effect 1. In one of my fan fictions she is wearing such a uniform again. I won't go into details as I don't want to spoil anything, but this is a modification of his model I did. I also used the arm patches from the Karin Chakwas mode extracted by modified to match the new blue uniform.
It's still a work in progress, I'm considering if I should make the logo match the circle/button from the original.Β

It depends if I can secure permission from the original authour. As of yet I haven't looked into this, I have been away from DA for a bit and also been a bit unwell.Β

Thanks, to be honest they were already there, I just made some really basic changes in photoshop to the textures changing it from green to blue and adding the side patches from another texture. The models are originally made by Bioware and are the models that appear in the games Mass Effect.Β

Several people here have Mass Effect models that can be used in XPS, there are also other models out there like Lara Croft ones etc. If you search for XPS models or something on DeviantART and Google you should come up with some decent results.Β

They've all done exceptional jobs at extracting them and have been kind enough to share them freely with the community and do produce some awesome artwork with them. I highly recommend checking them out. There are plenty more on DeviantArt who have an assortment of models that I have come across but these 4 seem to be the main ones with the largest assortment of models.Β
