I don't know where my inspiration is, I mean for the moment I don't get anything but fan-art done.How ever, I like this picture myself. It's a little bit sad. I really like deku Link, I've liked him ever since I saw my brother play Majora's Mask for the first time, a long time ago.
It's a little bit weird that Link protectes (yep, that's what he's doing) a flower from rain, I mean plants need water. But what ever. This picture is just an idea that popped into my mind, while drawing.
The flower is a little bit like Link, and that's the point.

Well, Deku Link always looks a little sad. Very nice drawing, I like the melancholy feeling of it.
One suggestion: Given the sketchy nature of the drawing, it's a little hard to tell that it's raining. Maybe if you added water splashing on his head and hands, that might make it a little more obvious. Just a suggestion, still looks great anyway.
