Description i took this during a rehearsal for a play i was directing in the lighting room. maria was lighting a cigarette and the amount of smoke that came from the match gave me the idea for the shot. she really burnt her finger doing it but never mind. suffer for art.
constructive critisism always welcome!! xx

You've made a really atmospheric photo. There is nearly no grey between black and white - I like this hard contrast. You are developing your photographie by yourself?

Hm, that's what I've expected. I know this problem from my old scanner. At the moment, we've a new scanner here, but new scanners aren't so expensive, I want to buy with an option for negatives / dia. I think you should invest in a new one too. It's stupid that the last step reduces the quality...

Hm, it's a question of what you want to scan. There are cheap scanner of Canon, really flat. Made good experiences with one of them. We have a multi-functional HP scanner with printer and other fine things, also working really good. If you want just to scan your prints, they're a good choice. Or do you want so scan your negatives, too?
