I needed to make some sort of presentation for my online class, and we're allowed to use flash.. so there you go.O.o I wonder if I should be worried about fangirls attacking me? OH WELL!
Anyway, there is some sound.. will be more later. YOU HAVE TO CLICK THINGS, and/or roll over them, in order for things to happen.

Well, I only go rabid when other people are rabid with me. xD
So I tend not to annoy people too much. But then again if someone goes around saying "ANYONE WHO LIKES TWILIGHT IS A F@G LOLZ OMG.11" They deserve a slap too. Rabid hating is just as bad as rabid loving...and just as annoying for that matter. >_<
Lol, nope no fangs. Would have been cooler with fangs, I agree... but I can't agree with anything else (-is still a big fan-) xD Well technically, they weren't called vampires at all. They were simply called "The cold ones" and Bella simply refers to them as Vampires, because they drink blood. That's what all humans know them as, so that's what they call themselves around Bella. But Edward usually just refers to himself as a 'monster'.
Ha, yes, well...I think everyone has a right to their own opinion, and anyone who can't appreciate and respect someone else's opinion is plainly immature. I like analyzing as well, but I don't think I would read almost an entire book which I can't stand, just for the sake of analyzation... But hey, whatever floats your boat! XD
Hmm, yes, good point. Some fans are too obsessively rabid to be open to faults or mistakes that are, undoubtedly, in the book. But I recognise that there are faults, and, despite that, the series are still counted among my favourite books.

Mmm, rabid-ness does have it's place, but both sides of the fence need to control themselves.
In the book they may call them "cold ones" but Meyer intended them to be vampires. It's a vampire novel.
... And Edward referring to himself as monster annoys the heck out of me. @.@

Yes, intended. As in she thought about it, and the word 'vampire' is what she used to describe the "cold ones", since the whole thing sprang out of her dream about a /vampire/ that sparkles.
No worries, I get sticky keys all the time. Sucks that some of it isn't working. Tried mashing the buttons that aren't working? Sometimes that loosens them up. It's hard enough to get used to a different keyboard size without keys breaking. X3 *sympathy*

Yes, well the problem is you have to promise not to take the laptop outside of the country.. (stupid, I know) So I thought I wouldn't be able to do anything about it, but it turns out I managed to get an engineer to come on Friday to fix it.

God, as if they weren't non-vampiric enough, they don't even have the main defining feature of a vampire. Good lord. I didn't know I was capable of hating the books more than I already do. *seethes*
I can't wait to see the movie next week. I'm expecting to either be mauled by fans (and possibly killed), or arrested/thrown out of the theater. Should be interesting either way.

I have enough problems with the MarySue-osity of Anita Blake and Sookie Stackhouse, but Bella takes the cake. At least Laurell K Hamilton and Charlaine Harris manage to make their storylines interesting (tho' Hamilton needs to work on making her stories plot>sex rather than plot

Mm, I haven't read Harris, but I love the Anita Blake series. That said, I'm inclined to agree with everything you said. Particularly in sex verses plot. Gotta say, the earlier books in the series were much better.

Ugh, when I picked up Twilight, I thought I couldn't lose. Vampires, a book about vampires that everyone seems to like? Yay? NO! I WAS WRONG, SO HORRIBLY WRONG. ><
What this novel has done... it has created a league of despies. ._. And destroyed all the vampires' weaknesses while preserving their ungodly strengths.

I completely agree. People try to say she was just being original, and doing something different, but honestly! The vampires in her story, regardless of what 'true' vampires are supposed to be, are BAD.

I don't think getting married at 18 in and of itself is a bad thing. I think giving up your entire life, and all your independence pretty much because you want to have sex is what's bad. Though, I do think its bad to /encourage/ girls to get married at 18.

I didn't do it for sex. I did it because A} Really, I can't stand most people in real life. I have freak out fits just being in public. Finding someone who doesn't mind me being crazy, and is cool with supporting me while I take baby steps towards getting a job, and being comfortable with the public is a god send. B} I plain freaking love the guy. Can't ever say I've actually cared about someone's opinions and feelings as much as I do for his.
I actually have the 1st and 3rd because when I got kicked out of school, they were in my backpack D: And I never got the chance to give them back
