Description
A commission for . These are her and her husband's OCs, Dark Flame and Overcast.Dark Flame (Sara Wolff by day) works at an orphanage, but by night she fights to protect helpless children. Overcast (Ravenswood Cadavre) was once your typical drunk P.I., but now the two are friends and fight crime together. Regardless of his appearance, he's a true detective at heart.

The coloring is simply gorgeous!
Its so smooth and very well done! You can tell how much work you put into your commissions just by a single glance! I love the colors you chose for the hair, and the faces are so nice!
I also love how the background colors are close and matching to the characters without them blending in too much and looking flat.

I think it is gorgeous. I love the light sourcing and shadowing. And Ravenswood's mask looks awesome. And Sara's hair has me swooning! Excellent work. I'm so glad I haven't posted my weekly journal yet, because I totally want to feature this!

Peeking in. Actually, the character wears a wig with that coloring. Sara's real hair is a much more natural, darker red.

It's actually inspired by real life. Years ago when I was cos-playing this character at Halloween, I found this funky neon red/orange wig and used it for my costume. I wish I had pictures, because it was amazing. Everyone thought my hair was real and kept asking me how I got it that color. LOL! Anyhow, it made a lot of sense to me that a moderately known public-eye person would want to hide her identity more than just a mask. So the wig made sense and I incorporated it in the character.
