I can't share any details about this artwork just yet, only that it's from an upcoming chapter of =Ganondorfs-Girl 's fanfic The Master and the Sorceress. As you can see, Seda will be making an appearance.
The original size of this artwork is absolutely gigantic for my standards, but it was an exceptionally fun challenge and I hope I did justice! I do feel rather bad about beating Faheem up so badly though... Also, Esme is crying, but it's a bit hard to see. In addition, now you can see Seda's other side! She doesn't wear bandages all the time-- she's not injured, but rather uses them for extra grip and protection while riding Kargarocs.
Also, the idea for this wasn't taken from Avatar: it's based off the flight patterns of the Kargarocs and their rider(s), the floating islands of the Twilight Realm, and the rivers of Darkness that flow from the buildings of the Palace of Twilight. It's taken directly from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Wow, this is incredible! Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of fan characters, but I love this. The contrast really catches my eye. This whole scene makes me think of Avatar (except that this is a lot cooler).

See, this is why I voted for the surprise option in your poll. I've really been looking forward to seeing your half of the trade, and I'm certainly not disappointed! This has to be one of your best images yet!
There's so much to take in here, but I can say for sure that you rock at drawing Kargarocs! Look at them all the the background, it's like a party back there! 
Poor Esme, you can really feel her concern there. (Actually... Poor Faheem too! 
All in all, I absolutely love this! Very well done!

I wouldn't say I necessarily rock at drawing Kargarocs-- they're quite difficult! I actually loaded up Twilight Princess and drew while watching them fly in circles for half an hour so I could try and get the look right.
I really do feel quite sorry for Esme and Faheem. Faheem because I beat him up so badly, and Esme-- well, maybe it's just part of being in love. I didn't used to care at all for sad turns in romantic stories until I feel in love. 
And yes, Seda is using her hair as reins! I'm glad you like it so much!
Actually, 50 faves is quite good for my artwork! I'd like to think it's DD material but probably not, and even so I'm very proud of it.

This is insanely good and I wish I could come up with a better comment. However, recently I have been in an artistic slump and hardly even have the mindset to praise good artwork when I see it. And this deserves praise - especially the background, I can't do those.
Wish I could jump on the bandwagon of Twili OC fun someday, but yeah - not happening anytime soon.
For now, a huge "great job" for you!

Actually the background was exceedingly simple. Take the clouds and such: the clouds are just 3-4 scribbly grey cloudish-looking layers. I used various filters so they'd look pretty. The flat background color is just a orange to purple gradient, so when you use the effects on the clouds, they blend in and create a false sense of depth (if that all makes sense). In other words, it takes about 10 minutes.

Holy carp (...I'm leaving that typo alone. It's amusing XD)! That is quite a picture! I knew it'd turn out beautifully! You did an amazing job on that sky. o__o I can't stop staring at it! I'm also amazed at just how fast you got this done. Mostly because of how well it turned out. :>
The emotion in this image is great and spot on. I can really see the sense of urgency from Seda and the overwhelming sense of fear and concern from Esme. And wow, Faheem really is beat up. D: Poor guy. ;w; The one thing I love about this image is how Seda's using her hair to guide the creature. I think you placed it well too considering the weird head it has.

I wish I could tell you more about the story behind this picture, but I'll update it once GG posts the fanfic chapter this is from.
I'm really glad you like Seda's hair! I did have to think a moment on how you'd steer a creature that doesn't technically have a mouth, but I think it worked.
I had actually completely forgotten about the waterfalls until I booted up TP to watch the Kargaroc flight patterns (to get a natural look), and then I thought "Well shoot, that'd look pretty cool actually!
