The DS Lite can still play GBA games, but above that they discontinued support. Really, only Pokemon players need the GBA slot to transfer R/S/E and FR/LG Pokemon.

I used to really want a GBA SP. But then I decided to get a NDS, so I got one!
I have a GBA SP charger (which works for the DS, too) but I never even had an SP!

Yup! I got the original because I heard that the DS Lites are very fragile. I wanna get a 3DS when they release this year in March.
My first handheld console was a Gameboy Color, then I got a Gameboy Advance. Then I started getting sick of the dim screen on the GBA and using these stupid lights to light up the screen, and they would get in the way of the screen, so I finally got a DS.

Now with all this GBA talk, I wish I still had my GBA and the Tamagotchi game I got to play on it. It was so simplistic, but so fun! 8D

Me too. But mine doesn't work anymore. 
I also have GB Color, GB Advance, and GBA SP. All of those still work, but the GBA's screen is so scratched up that it is almost impossible to use. Me obsessed?

Ahhh, I remember when my mom and Grandpa teamed up to get me one. It was a flame red color, and in a couple years I decorated it with butterfly stickers, plus a Butterfree sticker. I am ashamed to say I don't play it anymore, so I gave it to my mom because she got a Tetris game for it. But I still cherish the memories in my heart. Wonderful stamp. *fave*
