Yesterday I got into the mood to draw something bright with fancy dresses and some buildings so yeah, in the end I spent a lot more time on it than initially intended and that's the result.Related content

I am staring like hypnotised at the crystal vase, I love how delicate the flowers look and how natural her pose looks.

I generally just love how you color, but in this piece, I especially notice how amazingly you make the colors work well together, she already has some lovely expression and pose, and her surrounding is just so well done, the perspective is just amazing ;0;Β

Thanks, I kind of wish I would have been a bit more patient with some parts of the background (e.g. the pillars) but I'm happy that you like it this much :3
It's a ton of fun to think of ways to integrate your signature in the image, you should try that out too sometimes (if you haven't already)

wow, this is so pretty and they looks so elegant! I love the pose, looks really gentle and makes me think she tends to move very softly and flowy. The background is amazing too, really awesome job on the flowers and glass vases, and the perspective looks great! Makes me really want to keep working at trying to do more structured backgrounds, this looks so good!

I still need to practice architectural backgrounds myself (I'm honestly way more used to just drawing plants and other organic stuff).
To be honest, the main reason why I'm finally doing more perspective heavy things are the nice perspective guides in the current sai version that just make it so much less bothersome :3

I can't help but wonder what the exact occasion is... I want to say there's some kind of party or bridal event going on with the quantity of flowers and hints ofΒ ladies in fine dresses but it's certainly half the fun to guess what the narrative is here.

I initially just used the normal date but that just didn't fit in at all, so I just went with the roman numbers, which worked a lot better, instead xD
