Description
My original character, Maura. Maura is a blind girl who can only see in either pitch black, in auras in dim-medium light, and not at all in bright light. Many people don't know that Maura's father was an NYPD officer that was killed on-duty, so Maura tends to carry that, and calls him her guardian angel. They used to sit on the roof of her appartment house to watch and feel the rain fall. Though she can't see the rain fall like she used to, but when it falls, she knows her dad is there enjoying it with her. ^_^Tried some new things, such as experimenting with water, different style of painting, and OMG, EXPRESSION!
I like it in the long run. ^_^

You know...I pondered the title for a long time because I knew SOMEONE would pick up on it. However, I didn't get it from the DareDevil movie(which was...well, good for a comic movie, but the comics are ten times better), because while in the movie, the phrase is taken literally(How the hell he can see her EYES in the rain is beyond me, but anyway...*shrug*), this is taken metaphorically.

Thank you. Most of my characters are Role Playing characters, so a good amount of them have backgrounds and personalities. I also tend to have my imagination run wild with me, so once I draw a character, I have to think of something to do with it. You shoul do it too! I know you have lots of characters you've written for comics. Right there is how it starts.
I've been definately looking into it! I'll be able to focus more on it after AWA. This week is going to be a busy week. Most of the stuff I'm doing lately is for prints and posters. But once I'm free, I'll definately get right on it!

Maura is a wonderful character. Despite anything that happens to her(she was attacked by a gestapo type guard called the AMTF, who killed her seeing eye dog, was fought over by three different guys, chose one and broke the hearts of the other two, and also was taken hostage and stabbed in the stomach XD), she always keeps back the emotions, and lets them drift away. She lives life passively, cares very much about others before herself, and is just an increadibly kind, caring person. She is so pretty to me ^_^
I'm very pleased with the coloring. I think I'll be using it a bit more like this. ^_^
