well, i talked with a dA-friend about the ringlights and told, i would test an idea..... i showed her the result in my scraps.....i just tested, if this ring-neon-lamp gives a good light..... i like the ring-reflections in the eyes, but the lamp is not strong enough...... have to test some other settings...... the other way is an expensive ringflash for my flash-generator.... well let's see, when the testing is not sucessful, i may buy it one day....

Oh, but this is a regular "ring lamp", not photographic material, right? This things sometimes can surprise us, and end up giving more interesting results than the cold professional material... sometimes...

yes, it is nothing photography-related..... but it cost only 26 eur, the ringflash for my generator (bowens) would be about 1300 eur with reflector.... so it is useful to test it before buying the expensive solution..... and in the moment i'm not taking so much potraits or nude things..... but i like to do more in this direction.... that's why i said "let's wait.... maybe i will buy one in the future"

when i have the time, maybe i will test it today again.... when you're interested, i will post the results in my scraps

Of course. Very interested. Maybe I'll buy something like that too. That's an amazing result, for that price. Did you buy it in a regular store? What should I look for

Maybe more watts or more ISO?

it was a regular store.... it is a lamp for ceiling-mounting....

more watts are not possible.... more iso...hmmm..... i think i will add some ambiant-light from my flash-softboxes
