Fan art of Nobody Owens and Silas from Neil Gaiman's 'The Graveyard Book'.

I realized the other day I hadn't done any nice, inked fan art for his books, just doodles, and I wanted to do something good so I could get him to sign it when he comes. That being said, I sort of failed to meet my goal. It didn't turn out quite how I wanted, but I suppose it's good practice. Maybe I'll do Aziraphale and Crowley next, hopefully they'll turn out...

It's funny, Nobody is described as wearing a winding sheet in his earlier years, and yet in the illustrations he wears normal clothes... Silas I really didn't have much to go on, he isn't described much. I don't know how the idea got in my head that he had pointy ears, but it did, and there they are. We're not sure he's human, after all.

So... Characters are not mine. Designs I sort of made up.

EDIT: HOLY SHIT WTF. I just realized, Nitrus Oxide, Nobody Owens! Same initials. The grave with 'N.O.' was meant to be my signature, but it's also Bod's initials. Fuck. That's weird and likely to confuse those who view it. Oh well. >>
