This was more practice for me than anything. I've just prodded this the past few months to test out random techniques and attempt to get a little better at backgrounds and buildings. I suck at buildings.The one useful thing I've learned through this would be that burning things are best painted when listening to City by Hollywood Undead.
For those of you who aren't familiar with the Old Republic era, this would be the Sacking of Coruscant.
And Star Wars and Coruscant belong to Lucas, blah, blah, blah...

Wow! You say you might refine this, someday in the future? That would rock. It could use it in a few areas. It's not that bad, though, the things that I see have already been mentioned and are VERY minor. Yeah. Keep up the good work. I'd like to see this revised, but it's cool enough if you don't. Nice work.

I'd love to see this sharpened and a lot more detail put into it, however the perspective and the storytelling in this piece is great, keep it up.

Thanks and I really do appreciate the feedback. I contemplated adding more detail but I started to burn out. I do have a version where the blurred rubble is in focus too, I might have to refine that one some after I've had a break from the picture for awhile.

No it's not the blurred rubble, that's great as it is, it's as if you were watching through a camera, I ment some of the buildings, I would...nevermind I'll show you if I do a landscape piece, when I eventually have the time to update this website.

It'd likely be the back of their head. I like to be lazy and avoid having to paint expressions when I can.

but this tower thing on the middle/left side looks kinda uhm... i dunno it doesnt look as good as the other things on the picture
