(Starburst, Prism Bolt, and Striker are all sitting outside looking at a photo album)Striker: So this is when you got me at the hospital?
(Points at picture in photo album)
Starburst: Yep that's right sweetie.
Striker: Momma how come you look so...sick?
(Prism Bolt starts laughing)
Starburst (chuckles nervously): Oh well....um I went to the hospital and...well let's just say that once the doctor 'brought' you to me I felt a lot better.
Striker: Okay.
(Looks at album again)
Striker: Wow there's Grandma Twilight, Granny Rainbow Dash...Grandpa's Flash and Soarin are there too!
Starburst: They were all there when you were born; my Uncle Spike was there as well...(whispers) once the doctors were sure he wasn't going to roast them...(resumes normal speaking volume) he was so excited that he took the photo right when the doctor brought you to me.
(Striker looks at the photo closely)
Striker (looks confused): Wait...where's daddy then?
(Prism tenses up Starburst stifles a laugh)
Starburst (trying not to snort): Pfft...ahem...he was there too Striker. He's in other photos of that day.
Striker: But if this was right when I got there, then why isn't he in the picture with everypony else?
(Prism looks away blushing)
Starburst (Smirks and looks at Prism): He was at the hospital he just wasn't...'up' for a photo right then.
(Prism scowls at her and looks away again)
Striker (looks upset): Was he mad at me? Is that why he didn't wanna take the photo?
(Prism tenses up, feeling guilty)
Starburst: Prism Bolt... your son wants to know why you weren't in the photo.
Prism:.....
Starburst: (Totally enjoying this): Prism Bolt?
Prism:......................
Starburst: Pris...
Prism: UGH FINE I FAINTED OKAY!!
(Striker looks surprised, Starburst starts laughing)
Prism (mutters): No one told me birth was so...traumatizing....

Yep that's whats inspired this...there's a really good video of one in the delivery room where the husband passes out and takes out the visual on the camera but the audio is still going. You hear his wife, who is in labor mind you, asking if he's okay in a very calm concerned voice and the doctor calling someone saying 'yeah we need assistance, we have a father on the floor' so calmly, like it happens every day.

Hahahahaha I love it. I like the idea of Prism acting all tough, but being a softy about things. Seeing his wife in pain literally was to much for him...hence the fainting. Oh his wounded fatherly pride.
