woooooww...one of those designs i wish i came up with...very sleek and simple....the curved edges remind me of modern car designs. a thousand props. nice lighting too.

Mr Oneal, I congratulate you on an astounding job on this bust!! I simply love it!! Few enjoyed this series to the extent of making it a favorite like I did. Its good to see a great artist such as yourself doing a tribute to both Terry and Bruce!!
Its actually a good reference material for a different more realistic take on this character!!

I'm a HUGE fan of the animated DC Timm-verse, and of this show in particular. I used to have a full-body statue of Batman beyond in an action pose, wings flared and about to throw a batarang. But my cat somehow got up on my shelf and knocked him off, breaking it. I've never been able to find another statue. 
This bust is incredible. I too have wondered how this would translate to a real-world design, being a costume, but also like armor. The part that always had me stumped was the mouth area, since there is no break in the costume until he opens his mouth. I really like what you'e done with both busts. You are a really talented. But you already knew that.

It's all done in Super Sculpey and Magic-sculp, plus some wooden blocks and dowels for the bases. It took me about a month for both busts from start to finish.

Wow. What an awesome animated-to-realistic adaptation. Personally, I think the hard edge on the back of the head is a bit odd, but other than that I love this design, especially those sweeping lines from the brows up to the ears.
Is there any chance of being able to buy casts of this and/or the Bruce busts somewhere/somehow? (I think they're about the same size as my composer busts. Imagine Terry and Bruce next to Mozart, Brahms, Debussy, and Beethoven!)
