Description
1968 saw the introduction of Wales' first commercial television service, the aptly-named Teledu Masnachol. ATC was obliged to co-operate with this new advertisement-funded channel, and so this production slide was very common in the channel's early years. For the commercial broadcaster ATC produced such greats as 'Gallwch chi hefyd', 'Y Stondin Olaf', and controversial current affairs programme 'Nawr y Byd'. Interestingly, this caption uses a different logo from that which was used in Masnachol's formative years.
