Claire Redfield looking all... perky.
This was a pencil sketch I had to re-do a few times 'cause I couldn't quite get the pose right.
When I was finally happy with it, I inked it with a biro and colored it in Photoshop.
I resubmitted the image 'cause I forgot to shade and highlight the gun (a Beretta M93R, in case anyone's curious).

Hehehe... I know, but the Beretta has nice lines. If a weapon can look dangerous and oddly sexy at the same time, the Beretta is right up there with katanas and Kalashnikovs.

Great Piece. I love the pose. I can see how it could take some time to get right. I really like your style. It's really clean and light. the detail in the gun is fantastic. Do you collect gun magazines to learn how to draw them? You always seem to come up with refreshingly new poses or page construction that most people either wouldn't think of or wouldn;t dare try. Really good examples of this are 'Odd Couple' (one of my Favs), Church Angel(anoth all time Fav) and Introspective2. Cool work, as always my man.

As for reference material for guns - I used to collect BB guns (the cheap spring-loaded kind). The full-auto Beretta in this drawing is based on my favorite in the collection. Too bad I had to leave all my weapons back in the Philippines. My brother is "holding on" to them for me.

Claire's a much prettier girl than Lara, yep. And I thought the Code Veronica game was quite good, I might get it if I find it cheap.

Lara is one of those unattainable, uber-cool, out-of-everyone's-league types, while Claire is the pretty-girl-next-door type who just happens to kick butt with the best of them. Guess which one I prefer.
