Very Rococo-ish, I've been studying the period in my art history class, and I have to say you represented the style perfectly. Beautifully done.

I love the Rococo style and I use it in most of my designs ^_^ I love anything 17th Century, Including American and British period styles.

I am SO jealous of your ability right now! I really like your color scheme and your your ability to shade. It's light enough that it is noticeable, but not too over powering. I also like the shaping of both of their hair does and clothing. Very nice pixel art over all.

You know, if you take the mask off the girl, she reminds me of the blonde character in the movie Singing in the Rain. I forget the character's name ...
There was one film (within the movie) that she was doing with the main character, where it was set in a time where they wore those kinds of clothes ... that's what I'm thinking of.
But one of the more funny moments of her (in my opinion) was when she had to go through vocal training:
Trainer: "And I cahn't stahnd him." (long, open a's, like "aaah")
Actress: "And I can' stand 'im." (what I'd like to say a country-accent for a's, like in "ant")
This character-actress' counterpart (the main character) was also doing voice training, and that led to a seemingly improvised song, "Moses supposes his toeses are roses, but Moses supposes erroneously."
