Easter Egg Total: 3
· “Must be difficult for such a powerful creature to live among all this…mediocrity.” Ogron (WC S4E04)
· “Why do they always put up a fight when it’s a losing battle?” Ogron (S4E05 Nickelodeon)
· “…Ogron had won and magic on Earth disappeared…So, the people of Earth forgot about us and we became nothing more than legendary figures they read about in fairytales…Nobody and the human world with no protection, slipped into chaos, war, and intolerance.” Faragonda (S4E02)
Trivia: The WoBC represent Hatred, Greed, Destruction and Envy respectively for their specific powers.
Director's Commentary: It still baffles me to this day that Ogron doesn’t represent Pride (trivia above). This is mainly due to WC S4 finale when WoBC (except Duman) are trying to escape in the Omega Dimension. In the RAI version, Anagan and Gantlos clearly ‘keep on insisting’ to surrender, but it’s Ogron who wouldn’t give up and thus, their downfall. Though I don’t think the intention of WoBC are ‘meant’ to represent the ‘seven deadly sins’, to me, they were ‘pretty’ close to be. If not this, then I still go for them representing the four horsemen from Christian lore. So yeah, here Ogron definitely did an ‘oopsie’ by letting his pride get in the way and practically spill some of his past. Honestly, I didn’t think of using S4 WoBC’s quotes at all due to their new bkgd story. Go figure, right lol? Anyways, now u guys new where their origins come from, which is Earth. Actually, I hinted this from FLM CH 6. But OMG THANK GOODNESS I did FLM CH 6 especially for the bkgd of Ogron’s office. This chapter’s production went a little bit faster due to this. I admit I did FLM CH 6 out of selfishness and due to wanting more spotlight for Valtor. Honestly, if FLM CH 6 is ‘removed’ from main plot, nothing’s really changed honestly. This is pretty much worthy of being one of my FLM side stories starring Tecna and Valtor. Oh well, can’t turn back now lol. On the other hand, I’m glad I did that chapter b/c this takes a somewhat look at my changes to Valtor’s character. For Valtor’s dialogue here, I honestly think I could do ‘much better’, but kept it since…well, it’s Valtor. He can PRACTICALLY say ‘anything’ and it’ll definitely come true, such as ‘a dog is a cat’ and he’ll prob be able to make this happen. Silly example I know. One thing I like of how I did Valtor’s character is that he doesn’t really give ‘direct’ answers but he’s able to make others tell him what he wants or needs for his benefits and/or achieve his goals. Oh, he’ll make an awesome advisor and definitely nail stuff like business and politics lol!
*read footnote about human differences*…is the Magic Dimension have THAT much ‘discrimination’ towards Earth??!
Logically, I couldn’t see why not. Again, Earth is the ONLY planet to have no magic. In FLM universe, this is due to the Magix War. So, why should the other magic realms see it as equals, let alone respect them? The only reason why ppl like the Specialists don’t get ‘discriminated’ as much, is that their physical attributes immensely surpass humans from Earth aka ‘they’re not THAT worthless’.
