Director's Commentary: This is one of my favs to draw for this chapter. It’s simple yet I think speaks so much between Valtor’s and Ogron’s characters at this point. To me, u can see who has more experience and exposure to reality, which ofc Valtor won by a long shot. Valtor’s calm while, u can see Ogron being cautious with his words. Again, Ogron thought he and the other WoBC have been ‘caught’. Even though I’m gonna ‘change’ some WC characters’ ages (to make better sense for story’s sake), they’ll technically ‘act the same ages’ just like in WC universe. For example, Valtor is 1000+ years old in WC universe (WC S8), but in FLM universe, he’ll be around 34 aka he’s still one of the oldest (besides Griffin) amongst the current residents of Crimson Flare. For WoBC, I’m thinking around 22-25, which reflects, my theory mind u, that WoBC are around 800-1000 years old in WC S4 (due to them wearing medieval era clothing on Earth in S4E02). So yeah, this is one of the reasons why I think Valtor will win in most, if not all, ‘battle of words’. Though I agree both have great knowledge, Valtor has the edge in this case. After all, he is the one who started the ‘fight’. Oooo, now I want a rap battle between them lol!
