this brings up a philosophical question since the force flows through all living things. would a sentient synthetic like a droid qualify as being alive? and if so could a droid be force sensitive. i know your first though is "no usoutlaw droids aren't sentient." but through out the movies we have seen plenty of different droids to know that many of them actually are sentient beings. really the bigger question is if by "all living things" does Obi-wan mean organic beings or sentient beings?

yea they retconed midi-chlorians out of being why people can us the force. they even did it i the clone wars cartoon. Lucas made sure that before star wars went to Disney he fixed that mistake.

yes im shure. and them making up the Prophesy was retarded anakin didn't have to be a chosen one. in the original trilogy his defining feature was he was one of the best pilots in the galaxy not that he was the one chosen to destroy the sith

I don't think they removed midichlorians. As far as I remember the force is in everything (even in force lifted rocks) but only living being have force sensitivity (midichlorians inside living cells).
But for what I remember, there was already a force droid named Skippy in a comicbook (now a in the legends)

they didn't remove them, but they did retcon them into being the cause of force sensitivity. if any thing i think midichlorians are like parasites the feed off the force the flows through a person, and the greater the connection to the force the more midichlorians a persons cells can accommodate.
