Jesus, that guy on the left must get such a claustrophobic feel not being able to move his head from side to side. Unless, the pilot fits inside the mech and has much more room.

Yes, I think the claustrophobic thing can cause horror theme more alive. In this case, the theme is Fallout meets Deadspace.

Now, now, now, these are some very nice mechs: they look heavy, they look hard and they look dangerous and menacing being a nice bridge between the more militarised mechs you find in western fiction and the more humanoid mecha you find from Japan. Their head designs are fascinating, and yet so simple but what I love most of all about these guys is their overall designs. To few mechs I find nowadays slot into a very generic slab of blocks and hunchback design that feel in my mind very interchangeable. These three all have what I love in a good mechs: a distinctive profile which makes them instantly recognisable: they do not blur together and have a unique appearance that helps them stand out against a sea of generic mechs.

with the tings on its head the one on the left looks like a beefed up version of Briareos from Appleseed.
also i feel the big guy on the right could use something a big bigger than those twin daggers

i mean it would not be fun to be stabbed by those even if your in armor. especially when used with a power armor suit. but the sight of that big armor carrying a claymore would make most people poop there armorΒ
